Gardening for Newbies...like me!

Coming Soon...a garden (of sorts) to a home near me! lol. So I've been in love with the idea of growing my own food for some time now, but thus far, I haven't overcome my fear of killing/neglecting everything enough to get started. :o/   However, this is the year! I'm claiming it! I WILL GROW SOMETHING EDIBLE THIS YEAR!!! Lol. Now, as for knowing what to grow whenever I finally get started, that's where Sprout Robot comes in. Great Deal on Carnation Instant Breakfast Essentials

Target is running a great deal on Carnation Instant Breakfast Essentials right now. I admit, I drink this everyday (like some people drink coffee...lol), but it is not always cheap (usually around $4 a box). However, it's on Price Cut at Target for 10% off (from around $4.24 to about $3.81) couple that with the new $2/1 Printable, and you're looking at about $1.81 per box! That's even less than I pay in bulk at Sam's! (one of the few things I actually get cheaper there as opposed to regular price..lol).

Who says you can't get much for $4?

 

 I've been meaning to add photos and breakdowns of my shopping trips for awhile now, but for a number of reasons, it just didn't happen....until today! Remember when I said that rain checks could be your best friend? Well, today was one of those days for me! Check it out. I bought:

*Let me take a minute to explain this further. Even though the coupons from the store flier had already expired, I was able to use them on this transaction because they were still valid on the date that I got the rain check. Remember this! If you have a coupon for a sale that is about to expire and the store is out of that item, you can get a rain check (before the coupon expires and/or the sale ends!) and get the same savings at a later date, even if the coupon has since expired. Now, not every store will do this, but that's just another reason why I love Publix so much, because they will honor it. :o)
