Who says you can't get much for $4?

I've been meaning to add photos and breakdowns of my shopping trips for awhile now, but for a number of reasons, it just didn't happen....until today! Remember when I said that rain checks could be your best friend? Well, today was one of those days for me! Check it out. I bought:

(10) V8 Splash Juices $2.69ea. (used BOGO rain check & (5) $1/2 coupons from 2/3 SS)

(12) Happy Baby Baby Food Pouches $0.99 ea (used (6) $1/2 printables & (12) $1/1 Publix coupon from the green Happy baby book found in store) = 12 FREE  + $1.01 overage for every two I bought!

(10) Marsetti Simply Dressed Refrigerated Salad Dressings [DELICIOUS!!!] (Reg. $3.69ea) on sale 2/$4 (used BOGO rain check, (5) $1/1 coupons from 1/20 SS & (5) $1/1 blinkie coupons found in store) = 10 FREE!

(10) Minute Maid Coolers on sale 2/$4 (used BOGO rain check & (6) $1/1 printables) = $4 for 10 or $0.40ea

(12) Kellogg's Nutrigrain Bars $3.49ea (used BOGO rain check, (6) BOGO publix coupons from previous green market flier found in stores*, & (4) $1/3 printables) = 12 FREE + $4 overage!!

*Let me take a minute to explain this further. Even though the coupons from the store flier had already expired, I was able to use them on this transaction because they were still valid on the date that I got the rain check. Remember this! If you have a coupon for a sale that is about to expire and the store is out of that item, you can get a rain check (before the coupon expires and/or the sale ends!) and get the same savings at a later date, even if the coupon has since expired. Now, not every store will do this, but that's just another reason why I love Publix so much, because they will honor it. :o)

Total before coupons: $67.68
Total after coupons: $3.71!!!

Total Savings (w/ sales & coupons): $77.34!
