I figured I'd post a few of my favorite sites and/or apps that I use to earn money and/or points for free stuff in case you all were interested in giving them a try. The primary factors I consider when trying out a new program are: 1) Is it easy to use? 2) Does it deliver what it promises? 3) Do I have to buy anything or do anything extra? 4) How well I am compensated for my efforts. If it passes all of these areas, I'll use it regularly and share it with my friends, family, and followers (my 3ffs...lol...you know you like it!) So here are the latest and greatest:
Ibotta (Mobile App)
Why I Like It: It's easy and you get money back (deposited into a Paypal account) for things that you either buy anyway or choose to try out (between $0.50 and 1.50 per item), and it doesn't matter if you use coupons or other discounts to purchase the items. You simply check which items you intend to buy and when you do, you take a photo of your receipt, scan the item barcode, and submit it. That's it.
Credits are awarded usually within an hour.
CrowdTap (Website)
Why I Like It: It's easy. You click through 1-question surveys (Quickhits) and get points that can be used for gift cards or donations to charity. You can also participate in panel discussions, "missions", or complete other simple actions.
Swagbucks (Website)
Why I Like It: It's easy. (notice a trend here? lol) I primarily use it to get points for printing coupons that I intend to use anyway, but you can get points when you search on the web, shop, watch video clips, take daily polls, play games, you name it. There's bound to be a way to earn points that you like/don't mind doing. I will say this, it's not the fastest earning method out there, but when you can get free points for giftcards or whatever else you're into, for doing things on the computer that you do anyway, it's not a bad deal.
As I complete my screening process on some others that are in the works, I will post more links for you, but as I said before, I don't just post referrals for anything that comes along...I have standards here in my D.C. life...lol. ;o)
